On August 5, the 2016 summerĀ OlympicsĀ kick off in Rio, and weāre eager to watch our favorite athletes represent the USA! But wait, whereās lacrosse on the roster of events?
Lacrosse was an Olympic sport in the 1904 and 1908 summer games. Canada, the USA, and Great Britain competed in menās lacrosse, and Canada took the gold each year (although Great Britain only competed in the 1904 competition).

As you may have read online or in a recent e-blast, I was recently selected as a finalist for the "Visionary of the Year" award for my role in creating Swax Lax andĀ Swax LaxĀ LacrosseĀ camps and clinics. The award finalistsĀ were presentedĀ byĀ B.I.G. (Believe, Inspire, Grow), a national organization dedicated to building entrepreneurship and leadership opportunities for women of all ages.
